Children’s COM (Center of Mass) and COG (Center of Gravity) are different from adults.
Children can only tolerate so much learning in a day and in the cold expect 30 to 45 min sessions before a nice warm-up inside. If the child decides they want more then rejoice. Key is warm once cold the day is done.

Children can differentiate appearance from reality. They are still unable to reason about abstract concepts.
FORMAL OPERATIONS:
Develops later in adolescence and beyond…
Individuals can think in terms of concepts and abstractions.
