MOST Skiers & Snow Boarders (80%) Have their gear waxed once per season. Of the 80%, half of those have their gear waxed multiple times per season. Wax every 3 to 5 times of use. <\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

PARK AND PIPE RIDERS NEED TO DETUNE THE EDGES, make them dull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

EDGE TUNE FIRST BEFORE WAXING.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EASY EDGE TUNE<\/strong>– Use a set of diamond stones, 400 and 600 Grit sandpaper will work. You are not cutting angles but reducing the edge burrs and nicks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EASY WAXING<\/strong> – Use a universal wax like a crayon and rub it on the base. Use a scotch brite pad to rub and create a bit of heat by friction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HOT WAXING<\/strong> – Requires an iron to melt wax and heat wax into the base material. It should never SMOKE or the Iron is too hot. Apply Hot wax, melt in, let cool, scrape off excess wax, then rush with a nylon brush tip to tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
