1-Drive slow on access roads 10 MPH.
2-All ranges are COLD. NO AMMO IN GUN MAG, IN GUN OR IN CHAMBER. Yellow CHAMBER FLAGS are Required.
3-Keep Firearms cased, bagged, until going to the SAFETY Table to place the unloaded firearm in Holster, Rack carrier, etc.
Every Range has a set of rules and may be different. You are privileged to shoot so know each ranges rules. Be SMART. NOT DEAD!

What is Thurmont 3 Gun?
3 Gun is an increasingly popular action shooting competition making use of rifle, pistol, and shotgun skills. A 3 Gun match at Thurmont will typically consist of 5 stages, and will require the use of multiple firearms per stage. Shooters can expect to go through 100 rounds of rifle ammo, 50 rounds of pistol, and 50 rounds of shotgun (birdshot). Distances range from 5 yards-300 yards, and targets will consist of cardboard (full- and reduced-size), steel, and clays. Movement will be required, occasionally up to 50 yards.

If you register and then find you cannot attend the match, please advise by withdrawing using the practiscore management link so that your slot may be given to another shooter.
New Shooters
-We welcome new shooters, but require that they be proficient in handling their rifle, pistol, and shotgun. For this reason we will only accept people who have shot in an action competition (i.e. USPSA, IDPA, 3Gun, SASS, etc), or have military/law enforcement training, before shooting 3 Gun at TCSC.
