Then a Match to uncover the issues to work on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Time is the major stress factor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Points \/ Time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Accuracy matters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">When building a range card do not worry about time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Feedback<\/strong> &#8211; Feedback comes from testing and recording written information, video, and a retrospective \/ review of a match.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>What are the parameters:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">-200 yds, all positions, 6-inch plate<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Short range. \u00a0 3inch x 3 inch target \/ 4 inch square<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Positions: Kneeling, Standing, Prone, Ports, Barricades<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Clean rifle bore<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>STEPS \u00a0 1 &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>ZERO &#8211; Rifle. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1- Get on paper at 25 yards center of 8&#215;11<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2 &#8211; Get on paper at 50 yards\u00a0center of 8&#215;11<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1171\" style=\"width: 264px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1171\" class=\"  wp-image-1171\" src=\"http:\/\/skidome.org\/firearm2\/wp-content\/uploads\/redarmystdelitesm-300x273.jpg\" alt=\"redarmystdelitesm\" width=\"254\" height=\"231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/skidome.org\/firearm2\/wp-content\/uploads\/redarmystdelitesm-300x273.jpg 300w, https:\/\/skidome.org\/firearm2\/wp-content\/uploads\/redarmystdelitesm.jpg 470w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 254px) 100vw, 254px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1171\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bench 2 days of sub 1in 1 MOA. 100 yds. Shoots lower then GT<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3- Get on paper at 100 yards\u00a0center of 8&#215;11<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4- Fine<strong> tune<\/strong> from sturdy Bench rest. ( over 2 days to rule out fatigue, wind, etc) Elevation , windage. \u00a0Try to get tight 5 shot groups.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">(Military care about large Targets. They zero at 25 yards, for an effective range to 300 yards. We care about 6-inch round) \u00a0a One 1 inch group at 100 yards is 1 MOA. 200 yards now 2 MOA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">-On bench or prone easier then Standing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Everyone has a natural wobble<\/strong>. [Adjust for windage] finer detail at 200. scope is now 1\/2 inch at 200.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A scope Must Hold ZERO<\/span>. Test &#8211; Zero for 100 Yards. Click up for 200 yards. Shoot target 10 times. 50% need to fall within 6 inches.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Then Set scope back down (reverse number) of clicks. \u00a0Shoot ten times,<strong> IS it back on zero at 100.?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The factory tables are factory. Shows Natural wobble.<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3- <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Close in Scope settings. \u00a0Assume Zero at 100 yds<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Need a 1 in by 1 in target square gradient 8 x 10 min<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">From a rest &#8211; Set scope at 2x, 4x , 7x \u00a0and shoot 5 rounds each power while aiming at Center of Target. Do this at<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">10 feet, 30 feet (10 yds) 60 feet (20 yds) \u00a090 feet ( 30 yds) and 150 feet ( 50 yds)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Record the Avg where rounds impact\u00a0the target for each power setting and distance.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This is about setting up. Shooting takes time to learn. The Army, Marines have really good videos and manuals for all to use. Basics, Fine Tune, Practice the hard shots. You can only train for 3 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Once you can zero, know where the bullet impacts, get in a match with 3 Goals.
