The real deal.<\/strong> I have been action shooting for 15 years. I have never been shot. I have run shooters in the maze (RO) and I can tell you things beginners do that are not SAFE. \u00a0In every sport, beginners do the same Wrong things. PROPER VOICE, and PERSONAL Instruction before and after a \u00a0stage will reinforce PROPER Gun handling.<\/p>\n

– \u00a0RULE NUMBER ONE ALWAYS POINT BARREL IN A SAFE DIRECTION.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reloads – Beginners tend to point a barrel to the left or right.<\/p>\n

Not Good if Square, \u00a0perpendicular \u00a0to BERM and on a line with fellow shooters.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

NOT Good with 3D <\/strong>berms ie. If a shooter is shooting targets on <\/strong>left or right berm, and they point barrel left or right the barrel can be facing up range breaking the 180 rule.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

IF YOUR NEW WE WILL YELL MUZZLE, Break the rule again DQ \u00a0 Seasoned -DQ<\/p>\n

Your barrel, to be safe and fast needs to be pointing into a BERM.<\/p>\n

– WHERE is the TRIGGER FINGER<\/strong>. NOT on the trigger during RELOADS or when Not Shooting at a TARGET.<\/p>\n

NOT like you see on TV, MOVIES etc.<\/p>\n

IF YOUR NEW WE WILL YELL FINGER, Break the rule again DQ \u00a0 Seasoned -DQ<\/p>\n

Skill drills for these issues is dry firing and practice reloads with dummy rounds<\/p>\n

SAFETY FIRST\u00a0<\/span>– when you are dead you don’t get a second chance!!!<\/span><\/h1>\n

Welcome, \u00a0When parents\/ guardians ask me about firearm safety for children, I try and give them multiple sources for guidance. My daughter and now grandson have been taught based on their level and retrained as they mature. Even with training, locking securely\u00a0is included.<\/p>\n

Training needs to go beyond the usual and add mental health as they mature.<\/p>\n

People who do not own firearms tend not to talk with their children about firearms. These videos offer everyone a way to start the conversation.<\/b><\/p>\n
