A very easy task. The drain plug is forward-facing and the oil filter is easy to access. I recommend a KIA Oil FILTER. Oil use Synthetic. 5W-20. Oil Changes are critical since this is a timing chain drive.
Not much needed to raise the passenger side maybe 2 inches. A Scissor jack and jack stand. 17 mm Socket and Oil Filter thin wrench.
Easy access every 5 to 6k miles. Cost 9$ filter/washer KIA Dealer and Walmart 5W-20 High Mileage Synthetic $25.00 Total.
