At 239k miles the motor mounts had cracks and the transmission mount rubber outside had failed, making noise and vibration. Quote from shop 5 hours labor, 400$ in parts ($900+) Took me 3 hours and $200 in parts. Air tools help. parts were next grade up from the cheapest. No real tricks other than 2 jacks and jack stands. One jack to support engine as each mount is replaced. Take time to wiggle and get holes lined up. Savings = $700
Trans mount access to 2 bolts is through the wheel well under circle rubber covers. Penetrant the night before will help. Trans mount is under the air filter box.
